Interested in becoming the next Miss Capital City and Miss Capital City’s Teen?
The Miss Capital City and Miss Capital City’s Teen competition will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Hedback Theater, 1847 N. Alabama St., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY AUGUST 11, 2025!
Steps to follow to register:
1. Confirm your eligibility.
Miss Capital City – Delegates must be no older than 28 years of age as of September 30, 2026 and no younger than 18 on September 1, 2026.
Miss Capital City’s Teen – Delegates must be no younger than 14 as of September 1, 2026 OR no older than 18 on September 30, 2026.
Other eligibility criteria:
Be a United States citizen
Be a female
Be single
Have no legal dependents
Must live, work or attend school in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam or Shelby Counties in Indiana.
2. Register for Miss America Opportunity.
The first step is to join “Club America Member” by clicking this link:
This will take you to the official Miss America registration page, where you must pay $49.99 to join. This will allow you to compete in any local competition for the coming year.
Follow the prompts and directions you will receive via the MAO WELCOME EMAIL to complete the DELEGATE CONTRACT.
DO NOT STOP ONCE YOU BEGIN -- you must finish the process. Make sure you are using the SAME EMAIL and contact information throughout the entire process. This is especially important for teens/parents. Failure to follow this process will result in broken link errors that will have to be corrected by the MAO.
Please send a copy of your registration and contract confirmation email to MissCapCity@aol.com.
Once you submit this registration, you will receive information and next steps directly from Miss America. There is also a helpful video to explain the registration process.
Follow the link in the Welcome Email to “Register for a Local” and register for the Miss Capital City pageant.
3. Complete the required American Heart Association (AHA) registration and fundraising.
Once the contract is signed and submitted, you will receive another email with a unique link to complete your SpotFund registration for the American Heart Association.
All contestants are required to raise a minimum of $30 per local competition for the AHA.
Note: If you have already created an AHA SpotFund account, you do not need to create a new one; simply create a profile for Miss Capital City and raise $30 for this local program.
4. Complete the Miss Capital City/Miss Capital City’s Teen Registration Form.
Once you have submitted your Registration Form, you will receive an email from the Miss Capital City Directors. Then you can begin working on steps #5-#8 to complete your registration.
5. Pay your Miss Capital City registration fee of $100 via PayPal.
